LeLang has always paid close and constant attention to reducing the environmental impact of its production and business processes by creating natural formulas and more eco-friendly packaging, without compromising on quality or effectiveness.
Our roots: a love of forests and hills
We were born from a deep love of forests and unspoiled nature—a passion that defines us and drives us to lead the pursuit of development goals capable of meeting the needs of the present without compromising the opportunities of future generations. It is a story that began in one specific place: we dedicated an article to the origins of LeLang in the Langhe.
We recognize the great intrinsic value of environmental resources and therefore ensure consistent checks and quality standards regarding the origin of our raw materials: both out of respect for the communities from which the ingredients are sourced and because of the environmental impact they may have during procurement and subsequent disposal.
A low-impact production cycle
The methods used to make our cosmetics draw their values from the principles of environmental compatibility, resulting in a production cycle with a low environmental impact.
For this reason, we strive to select as many active ingredients and raw materials from organic farming as possible, since this category of products is monitored much more carefully than conventional ones and, in addition to the usual tests and inspections, undergoes further specific examinations.
For us, sustainability must not be limited to production activities alone; it must be a vision shared by everyone involved in our wellness and beauty supply chain.
Packaging: glass, paper and no cellophane
To reduce the impact caused by packaging, we developed eco-friendly packaging, choosing to use glass as the container material for most of our products. In addition to being fully recyclable, glass is chemically inert: it does not release substances into the formulations it contains, preserving their effectiveness, integrity and safety.
All our packaging is made exclusively from pure, untreated paper. We chose not to add cellophane as an additional wrapper in order to avoid producing further waste, especially since this plastic is one of the main causes of marine pollution.
Minimal, simple outer packaging is one of the first steps toward reducing pollution and the waste of resources. As an additional measure, LeLang does not print the product information leaflet with instructions for use; instead, we have made it electronic by adding a scannable QR code to every box. With this practical and simple solution, we avoid wasting more paper.

Cruelty-free: why we do not write it on our boxes
Our protection philosophy naturally includes animals, which were subjected to numerous experiments in the past that are now prohibited by law, as established by the European Union's Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009.
Our company embraces this important scientific and ethical milestone, proudly following a 100% cruelty-free policy. For this reason, our boxes do not state “not tested on animals”: we considered it redundant, since European standards prohibit these practices for all cosmetics sold on the market. It is not an added value of a single brand; it is a legal obligation for everyone.
Italian suppliers, verifiable supply chain
As a further added value, we would like to emphasize that all our suppliers are Made in Italy: this is important not only for enhancing local resources, but also for fostering a stronger sense of belonging, supporting local businesses and guaranteeing quality, traceability and safety.
