Our roots: a love of forests and hills
We were born from a great love of forests and unspoiled nature, a passion that defines us and drives us to take the lead in pursuing development goals capable of meeting present needs without compromising the opportunities of future generations. It is a story that began in a very specific place: we dedicated an article to the origins of LeLang in the Langhe.
We recognize the great intrinsic value of environmental resources and therefore ensure consistent checks and quality controls regarding the origin of our raw materials: both out of respect for the communities from which the ingredients are purchased and because of the environmental impact they may have during sourcing and subsequent disposal.
A low-impact production cycle
Our cosmetic production methods draw their values from the principles of environmental compatibility, resulting in a low-impact production cycle.
For this reason, we are committed to selecting, whenever possible, active ingredients and ingredients sourced from organic farming, as this category of products is monitored much more carefully than conventional products and, in addition to the usual tests and inspections, is subject to further specific examinations.
For us, sustainability must not be limited to production activities alone; it must be a vision shared by everyone involved in our wellness and beauty supply chain.
Packaging: glass, paper, and no cellophane
To reduce the impact caused by packaging, we have developed eco-friendly packaging, choosing to use glass as the container material for most of our products. In addition to being fully recyclable, glass is chemically inert: it does not release substances into the formulations it contains, preserving their effectiveness, integrity, and safety.
All our packaging is made solely from pure, completely untreated paper. We chose not to add cellophane as an additional wrapping in order to avoid producing further waste, especially because this plastic is one of the main causes of marine pollution.
Minimal and essential external packaging is one of the first steps toward reducing pollution and the waste of resources. As an additional measure, LeLang does not print a leaflet containing the product’s instructions for use; instead, we have made it electronic by activating a scannable QR code on every box. With this practical and essential solution, we avoid wasting additional paper.

Cruelty-free: why we do not write it on our boxes
Our philosophy of protection naturally includes animals, which in the past were subjected to numerous tests that are now prohibited by law, as provided for by the European Union’s Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009.
Our company shares this major scientific and ethical achievement and is proud to support a 100% cruelty-free policy. For this very reason, our boxes do not carry the wording “not tested on animals”: we considered it redundant, since European standards prohibit these practices for all cosmetics placed on the market. It is not an added value of an individual brand; it is a legal obligation for everyone.
Italian suppliers, a traceable supply chain
As an additional benefit, we would like to emphasize that all our suppliers are Made in Italy: this is important not only for enhancing local resources, but also for fostering a stronger sense of belonging, supporting local businesses, and guaranteeing quality, traceability, and safety.
