Salicylic Acid

Salicylic acid is a Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA), or a chemical exfoliant soluble in oil. This allows the substance to bind with the sebum present on the skin and free the clogged pores, smoothing the skin's surface. Used as a prevention for pimples, rashes, and blackheads, the Salicylic acid fights acne and minimizes the appearance of pores by acting as an astringent. Thanks to its antibacterial activity, theSalicylic acid is effective against cystic acne.
