L'fermented pomegranate enzyme extract is obtained from the fruit of Punica granatum subjected to controlled fermentation. It belongs to the family of plant antioxidants, in the polyphenol group.
Pomegranate is rich in ellagitannins, molecules that are too large for the skin to use.
