Zincidone®

Zincidone® it is a bio-mineral complex zinc salt of 100% natural L-PCA, a derivative of pyrrolidone carboxylic acid that plays a key role in controlling sebum production by inhibiting the activity of the enzyme 5-alpha-reductase, and in preventing bacterial proliferation, particularly of the bacterium Cutie Bacterium acnes, responsible for acne. Thanks to its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, Zincidone® helps to reduce inflammation and keep the skin clean, balanced, and free from imperfections.

The certified active ingredient combines L-PCA, which strengthens the skin barrier, with the benefits of zinc known for its sebum-regulating, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory action. In vivo studies demonstrate the ability to Zincidone® to reduce the levels of skin sebum.
