Hyalo Marine is a complex that combines an extract of Macrocystis pyrifera — giant kelp, the brown algae that forms the Pacific's underwater forests — and hyaluronic acid. It belongs to the family of moisturizing complexes of marine origin.
The two components work in complementary ways. Hyaluronic acid draws in and retains water in the superficial layers. Kelp extract provides alginates, trace elements, and amino acids: alginates contribute to the film that limits evaporation, while marine trace elements—magnesium, zinc, and copper—act as cofactors in the skin's enzymatic processes. It is a profile that neither substance would have on its own.
It is suitable for dehydrated skin and signs of dehydration—those fine lines that appear when the surface loses water and fade as soon as it is replenished. Apply morning and evening to still-damp skin, followed by cream.
The giant kelp is one of the fastest-growing organisms on the planet and regenerates in a very short time: choosing it as a source of marine actives means working with a raw material that renews itself without depleting the environment it comes from.
