Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between cationic hyaluronic acid and classic hyaluronic acid?
The cationic form has a positive charge and binds to the surface of the skin, which has a slight negative charge. This means it stays on longer and is more resistant to contact with water.
Does L cationic hyaluronic acid also work in rinse-off products?
According to the supplier’s documentation, it remains effective even after cleansing and in rinse-off products because it adheres to the surface instead of being washed away with the water.
Why combine cationic hyaluronic acid with other forms of hyaluronic acid?
Because it plays the role of sealing: the lighter fractions hydrate, the heavier ones form the film, and the cationic form anchors hydration to the surface, supporting the skin barrier.
